Welcome to Australian Salvaged Timbers

We are suppliers of kiln-dried speciality cabinet timbers sourced from salvaged and surplus logs from Tasmania.

We specialise in supplying Tasmanian Blackwood to furniture makers, but we also carry limited stock of Tasmanian Myrtle and Celerytop Pine.

Our timber is milled in Tasmania by small, private mills, then shipped to northern NSW where it is stripped out and air dried for 3-12 months, then kiln dried by an advanced solar kiln.  The timber we supply is rough sawn (not dressed).

We offer timber in thicknesses of 25mm, 38mm and 50mm, with widths ranging from 75mm to 300mm. Most of our timber is in 2.4m and 3m lengths.

All our timber is ex-Nambucca Heads (NSW) but we can arrange shipping.
